Sources we rely on

• Official portals and their help documents: NGO Darpan, the income tax e-filing portal, the MCA portal, the FCRA portal and ministry grant portals.
• Acts and rules as published on official government websites.
• Notices, circulars and Press Information Bureau releases.

Other websites are used only to find an official document, never as the final source.

Law changes

When a law is replaced or renumbered, as happened with the income tax law, we update the affected guides and say which version a page follows.
